Eastside Kia is proud to support the Reel Fun Film Festival this February in Calgary, AB. This is their 8th annual event and this year it takes place from February 16 - 22. The Reel Fun Film Festival's mission is to expose children and youth to the world through films and the film making experience.
Kia Canada continues to bring a positive impact in communities with their annual Drive Change day. Each year, on August 21, a national campaign is brought to life by Kia Dealers from across the country. Kia's Drive Change day celebrates giving back to the community in a unique and special way. Eastside Kia is proud to take part in this annual event.
Celebrating Drive Change day 2014, the team from Eastside Kia will be working with the Cornerstone Youth Centre - a N.E. Calgary youth centre that works with children and teens ages 11-15. The centre is a great place for teens to come and relate in this after-school program environment, through various sporting and educational activities.
This year Eastside Kia is setting out to raise $2500. If successful, it will be matched by management, with all funds going to the renovations of the Cornerstone Youth Centre's new musical recording studio.
At Eastside Kia, we love to find creative ways to give back to our amazing clients. That's why we have started a new customer service program called, "Second Delivery Night".
We understand that in the excitement of taking delivery of a new vehicle, information can easily be forgotten. Our Second Delivery Night is designed to help provide you with information about your vehicle in a relaxed atmosphere.
The duration is about 90 minutes. Our customers enjoy snacks and refreshments. They are given a tour of our service department and then go through our customer information session. They have time to ask any question and are taken into the shop where they get to see vehicles from a technician's perspective.
Our next Second Delivery Night is scheduled for Wednesday January 22, 2014. If you would like to attend, just email email@example.com or call 403 250-2502. You can attend, even if you didn't buy your car from us! I look forward to meeting you there!
The U14 Fuze AA Girls Ringette Team is one of the 2 AA teams in the City of Calgary Ringette League. Each team has 26 spots and over 100 girls try out for a spot each year. Being on the team involved some traveling. Twice a month the girls go out of town/province tournaments.
During their first tournaments in Saskatchewan this season the Fuze girls were undefeated until the Gold Medal match where they were defeated during a nail biter final and went home with the silver medal. The Fuze team recently returned from Ottawa where they took the gold in the Gloucester Tournament. Great Job Fuze Girls!
Eastside Kia is proud to support the U14 Fuze AA Girls Ringette Team and the great sport of Ringette. Supporting young people in sports is so important and encouraging them to be active and work in a team setting is so crucial.
We look forward to hearing about many more wins from the U14 Fuze AA Girls Ringette Team.
It's about thinking big, no matter how small you start. It's what took us from our first bicycle in 1952 to our first car in 1971. And it's why we obsess over every stitch, rivet and feature seen in the vehicles we make today.
It's about innovating. It's hugging trees as well as corners and enjoying more fulfillment and fewer fill-ups. Drive change is about changing things for the better. Because when we change, we make the world around us better too.
From cleaning up playgrounds to holding food drives, from refurbishing community gardens to a strengthening partnership with MADD Canada, Eastside Kia and Kia Canada are driving change in our local communities in Calgary and across Canada. Each year we have another "Drive Change" day and we want to hear from you on how Eastside Kia can help drive change in the Calgary community. Please fill out the contact form on this page, we are excited to hear your ideas.
In 2012 Eastside Kia chose the Victory Foundation in Calgary for Drive Change Day. They are an organization that help the working poor, people on fixed incomes, and people who live on the city's margins.
We donated a van to the foundation! All of our staff has donated a share to purchase this van, as well as parts and servicing that were necessary.
Eastside Kia is committed to helping our community! We can all make a Change!
