Meet the Attractive, All-New 2018 Kia Stonic Crossover

Those who love the diminutive, utility-packed subcompact crossover segment now have two options to choose from in the Kia stable. Meet the all-new 2018 Stonic, a model that builds on the Soul’s zippy appeal with a higher ride height, 20 total color combinations, and a variety of active and passive safety features.

The Stonic manages to look the part of both utility vehicle and sporty crossover thanks to its roof rails, chiseled lines, and higher ride height. The design is all modern Kia, with a rear end slightly reminiscent of the new Sportage. Engine offerings are under wraps, but many think a 147-hp four-cylinder and a 175-hp turbocharged four-cylinder are good bets. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard, and safety gear ranging from rear cross traffic alert to lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking to blind spot monitoring are all available.
