If you're ready to roll with a new vehicle, now is time to look at those 2020 models, and secure a great deal! When you're in the market for a sedan, the Kia Forte and Toyota Corolla are two that are popular rides. Both of these rides provide ample leg room, and still offer excellent fuel economy. They're attractive, sporty, and reliable. But you probably want to know more details about so you can make the best decision. Just what are the differences between 2020 Kia Forte vs 2020 Toyota Corolla, and which one will suit you best?
Let's break each one down to see where you stand.
The Kia Forte is a compact car with a sporty yet stylish appearance. Its peppy engine and tiger-nose grille make for a menacing appearance on the road. The Forte sedan offers 18-inch two-tone wheels to add a bit of pizzazz to your ride or opt for the 17-inch alloy wheels.
If you want to upgrade your ride with more power, you can select the optional 1.6-L 4-cylinder Turbo that delivers 201 horsepower. The engine is paired with a standard 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that allows control of the powerband from the steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Or you can choose an available 6-speed manual transmission.
If you go with the standard engine, you'll still be satisfied with the 2.0-L 4-cylinder engine that delivers 147 horsepower. This is paired with the 6-speed manual transmission or available automatic transmission.
Don't miss out on the luxurious interior. With leather seats, special stitching, and 10-way power adjustable seats, you'll appreciate the upgraded touches.
Also, as always with Kia, you can rest assured you'll get warranty coverage that far surpasses that of other brands. The powertrain warranty coverage provides 10-year / 10,000-mile warranty, and the basic bumper to bumper coverage is 5-year/ 60,000 miles (ca. 96,561 km). This includes all the basic components in the car.
The Toyota Corolla is a compact car with a high EPA. You can choose the enhanced hybrid engine which will provide 52 mpg.
There are a couple options with the engine if you don't choose the hybrid. The 1.8L 4-cylinder delivers 121 hp, while the optional 2.0-L 4-cylinder brings169 hp. However, there is also an available 2.0-L Dynamic Force engine that will provide 169 hp.
As with many Toyota models, you will have access to the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, which is a suite of safety features.
